Always in Service

When the time comes to answer a call, we feel it is our duty to preserve the tradition of 69 years and counting to provide emergency medical care at no cost to the residents and visitors of our town. Our dedicated group of members are on call to respond to hundreds of dispatches annually and aid parties both within our borders as well as neighboring towns when help is needed.

All Volunteer

We are your neighbors. We are your advocates. We are here for you. We come from all walks of life, with electricians, mechanics, nurses, college students, lawyers, and engineers within our midst. At the end of the day, we are all Emergency Medical Technicians, and most importantly, people who are willing to answer the call.

You will NEVER be charged by the Oakland First Aid Squad for requesting help when you need it.

The Oakland First Aid Squad is always looking for motivated individuals above the age of 16 to become involved as observers, cadets, Emergency Medical Technicians, and certified drivers capable of operating our vehicles as well as staffing them.
